A home in Sharon Massachusetts unexpectedly becomes the face of residential Steampunk art and design combining, past and present; form and function; art and science.

In 2000 — Bruce and Melanie Rosenbaum purchased a 1901 Victorian Craftsman in Sharon Massachusetts and unwittingly stumbled on a creative design solution of combining the best of the Victorian period and our modern age. A late 1800s wood stove becomes a modern electric stove and oven; a fireplace mantel and insert becomes the housing for a state of the art home theater; and a Victorian pump organ becomes a Steampunk command computer workstation.

The Steampunk House has been featured in print such as the Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe, The Chicago Tribune, The New York Times, CNN, Huffington Post, NPR and featured on MTV, A&E, Discovery and HGTV.
