Challenge: How do you create a setting appropriate for fine art by day and streaming media by night?

Solution: Deconstruct an ornate mirror frame from a bygone age, and refit the entire structure to perfectly blend with today’s modern television technology.

Process: After removing the large mirror, the wood frame was cut and refit to reduce its dimensions. A fitted wooden “box” was constructed to hold the TV screen and hide all cables. The new TV frame was mounted with hinges to give easy access.

Josh’s vision was to craft a decorative setting with classic style that blended seamlessly with its very modern purpose and allowed for full functionality of the TV. Having the 65” Samsung QLED screen in the workshop for sizing and fit was crucial to delivering precision work and results.
